Posh under 21s back in action on Monday afternoon (1pm) against Birmingham City at Blues training ground.
The Peterborough United under 21s return to action after the Christmas break on Monday afternoon (1pm) with a trip to face Birmingham City, in a Professional Development League fixture, which will be played at the Blues training ground.
The squad, which is primarily an under 21 group, has been hampered by suspensions to midfielders Harry Titchmarsh and Will Van Lier, but Charlie O’Connell and Kai Corbett are included in the travelling 18.
Manager Ryan Semple said: “Birmingham are going well, they are a powerful side and are very good in attacking transitions so we know that we will have to perform well to get the positive result that we are looking for.
“We have played them already this season and they are a side that can cause you problems, but we are looking forward to it, we have had a good week’s training and the lads are raring to go after the Christmas break.”
The game was originally due to take place at Solihull Moors, but has been reverted back to the Blues training ground. We will keep you updated on the Academy Twitter page, @theposhacademy
