Posh under 21s in action at Burnley on Friday afternoon (1pm) following midweek postponement of PL Cup tie.
The Peterborough United under 21s make the trip to Lancashire on Friday to face Burnley in Professional Development League action (1pm) with Ryan Semple's men seeing their midweek clash against Sunderland in the PL Cup postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
The game with the Clarets will take place at their training ground with Posh looking to take the positives from the 2-2 draw with Sheffield Wednesday into the game.
Lead Coach Ryan Semple said: "The postponement of Tuesday night's game against Sunderland was frustrating but it is what it is, it is that time of the year. We are looking forward to our first game for 10/11 days and we want to try and build on the positive parts of that performance against Sheffield Wednesday.
"We need to start the game brightly, we want to get a foothold in proceedings because Burnley are a good side, they have pace in wide areas, we want to control the game as best as we can and enforce our way of playing on them."
Striker Pemi Aderoju, who netted twice in that game with the Owls and made his first team debut as a substitute against Wycombe Wanderers, is set to lead the line, while new signing Vontae Daley-Campbell is expected to feature.
