Posh under 21s return to action after enforced break due to postponements with Premier League Cup clash.
The Peterborough United under 21s are back in action on Saturday afternoon (1pm) with a Premier League Cup clash against Bristol City, with the game taking place at the home of Deeping Rangers.
Ryan Semple's men have been without a fixture for nearly two and a half weeks due to postponements and now enter a seven day period with three games.
With the game taking place on the same day as the first team fixture at Lincoln City, selection will be based on availability, but it is likely that Charlie O'Connell could feature.
Kai Corbett and Emmanuel Fernandez were both involved with the first team on Tuesday night so could travel with the first team.
Semple said: "Firstly, a huge thank you to Deeping for hosting us. In this competition, you have to play in a stadium, so we are grateful that they have stepped in to help us with Stamford unavailable.
"For us, we want to get a strong performance from the players. Yes, we want to win the game, but we are looking for consistency in performance. The lads have trained well, now we need to take it into the game environement.
"We have a busy week after nearly three weeks without a game, so this is an opportunity for us to get some momentum going into the second half of the season."
