Posh fans at Wembley

We have all the information supporters need for our return to Wembley Stadium on Sunday 13th April for the Vertu Trophy Final against Birmingham City, kick-off 3pm.

We advise all supporters travelling to the final to read this information to ensure the best possible experience. You can also access Wembley Stadium’s online stadium guide here.

TICKET INFORMATION

Entry to Wembley Stadium is strictly by ticket only. 

When you are ready to enter the stadium follow signage for your designated colour zone for the quickest entry and have your ticket ready at the turnstile with either the barcode or QR code visible for scanning.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

Travel to Wembley Stadium is easiest by public transport or via official Forever Posh coaches, a limited number of coach tickets are still available, click here to secure your place

RAIL 
Supporters travelling by train from Peterborough station are advised to arrive early. 

A queuing system and ticket checks will be in place. We strongly advise booking in advance for any travel to London on the day of the Vertu Trophy Final whether from Peterborough or other departure stations. 

LNER, who operate the majority of services between Peterborough and London, have confirmed that additional services will run on the morning of the game and returning after the game to accommodate the expected number of additional passengers. 

Our valuable Club Partners Queensgate Peterborough are opening their car parks for Posh supporters travelling by train, you can park for just £2.80 for the whole day and the car parks will be open until 11.30pm. Park in the Blue or Yellow car parks only.

There are three stations in the proximity of Wembley Stadium.

Wembley Stadium: 400 metres (four minute walk) from Wembley Stadium, one stop from London Marylebone.

Wembley Central: 18 minutes away, served by the Bakerloo Line & London Overground, providing access to key stations like London Paddington and London Euston.

Wembley Park: 100 metres (nine minute walk) from Wembley Stadium, served by the Metropolitan and Jubilee Underground Lines.

Please leave more time for your journey and plan ahead. Please check the National Rail website and TfL website on the day for real-time travel information and status updates.

OFFICIAL FOREVER POSH COACH TRAVEL
The official coaches will depart from the Weston Homes Stadium at around 9.30am. Supporters are advised to arrive as early as possible. Parking is available on the gravel car park on first come first serve basis, there is no need to enter your registration number on this occasion.   

Please note there will be priority boarding on coaches for the elderly, disabled and those travelling with small children.

TRAVELLING BY CAR AND PARKING
For those supporters travelling by car you can use the AA Route Planner to plan your journey. 

Event day parking is limited and must be pre-booked via the Wembley Stadium Parking. Blue Badge parking is available and can be booked through the same wesbite. For more accessibility info, visit Wembley Stadium’s Access Information.

We have been assigned the Green Car Park.

THE POSH STORE & POSH FANZONE AT THE WESTON HOMES STADIUM

The Posh Store at the Weston Homes Stadium will NOT be open on the matchday. Sunday trading hours restrict us from opening prior to the official Forever Posh coaches departing.

Prior to the coaches departing there will be selection of breakfast baps and other food and drink available in the Posh Fanzone for supporters travelling from 8am. 

Toilet facilities will also be open in the Posh Fanzone prior to departure.

WEMBLEY STADIUM ACCESS

The game will kick-off at 3pm. Access for general admission ticket holders is from 1pm whilst hospitality opens at 12pm.

Supporters are advised to enter the stadium as early as possible to avoid queues and facilitate security protocols. 

FANZONES & DEDICATED PUBS

We have been assigned the East Village Fanzone at Wembley Stadium.

The Posh Fanzone at Wembley is the perfect place for supporters to soak up the pre-match atmosphere with food & drink available. 

One of Wembley’s resident DJ’s will be on hand to pump up the atmosphere.

The Posh Fanzone at Wembley will be open from 10am to 2.30pm with drinks served from 10.30am. Last orders will be at 2pm.

Entry to the Posh Fanzone at Wembley is for ticket holders only.

For those supporters looking to park offsite and travel in by London Underground we have arranged for the Posh Fanzone at the Hive London (Barnet FC) which is approximately 10 minutes travel time to Wembley Stadium. For more information click here.

MATCHDAY PROGRAMME

A 100-page A4 size spine-bound programme will be available on the day for £10 and will be available from multiple outlets across the stadium footprint. 

Filled with opinion pieces, flashback features and a welcome from Darren Ferguson, there are also exclusive in-depth interviews with Malik Mothersille, Abraham Odoh and Kwame Poku.

STADIUM RULES

Please take note of the specific stadium rules at Wembley Stadium.

ANTI-SOCIAL & DISCRIMINATORY BEHAVIOUR
Wembley Stadium operates a zero-tolerance policy on any form of anti-social and discriminatory behaviour. If you witness any anti-social or discriminatory behaviour on the day, text HELP to 66566 or contact your nearest steward. 

PERMITTED ITEMS
Under ground rules, only certain items are allowed into the venue. Please make sure you're not bringing anything you shouldn't before arriving. Everyone is checked upon entry. You can see a full list of what is allowed and what is not allowed here

PYROTECHNICS
The use of pyrotechnics, flares and smoke devices inside or outside Wembley Stadium is prohibited and illegal.

Anyone caught carrying or using pyrotechnical equipment inside the stadium will be immediately ejected from the stadium, banned from future events and dealt with by the Police. Those caught using pyrotechnic equipment anywhere outside of the stadium will be in breach of the PSPO order and face enforcement action. 

BAG POLICY 
Wembley Stadium operates a restricted bag policy. Each person can only bring one small bag into the stadium, and it must not be bigger than A4 size:

Height - 297mm (11.7 inches) - Width - 210mm (8.27 inches) - Depth - 210mm (8.27 inches)

Please note, this means the overall bag size - bags that are half-full and folded over to reduce their size will not be accepted. Anyone carrying bags that do not meet the criteria above will not be allowed into the stadium.

A bag drop facility is available outside the Ibis Hotel. Please note there is a charge for this service. 

OFFENSIVE CHANTING
Wembley Stadium has a zero-tolerance policy on any form of anti-social, offensive and discriminatory conduct, and anyone found guilty of this behaviour will be ejected from the stadium and reported to the authorities. Offensive tragedy-related chanting, gesturing and displaying of abusive messages is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. People who are found to have committed offences face stadium bans and potential criminal prosecution. 

PLAYING AREA
Entry onto the playing area, or any adjacent area, is not permitted. Anyone caught attempting to access this area, without authorisation, will be ejected and have their details handed over to police for arrest. 

FLAGS
The national flag of any team not competing in an event at the stadium on the day of entry must not be brought into the ground.

GROUND REGULATIONS

PERSISTENT STANDING
Persistent standing during a match at Wembley Stadium is strictly forbidden (unless with a ticket for the safe standing area) and may result in ejection from the ground. Persistent standing not only compromises crowd safety, but also affects the matchday experience of fellow spectators, especially children and elderly people.

SMOKING
Smoking at the ground, or use of vapes, is strictly forbidden and will result in ejection from the stadium.

TAILGATING
Anyone attempting to tailgate or gain illicit access to the stadium will be apprehended and reported to Police.

NO STREET DRINKING 
There is an enforced no-street-drinking zone on Olympic Way. Fans drinking on Olympic Way & the surrounding streets will be asked to hand over their alcohol and enforcement action may be considered.

ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION

Assistance is available from Wembley Stadium’s Customer Relations team, who can be identified in and around the stadium in red jackets. They can be found in the following spots: 

• Wembley Park Underground Station - near to the passenger lifts
• Near to the Purple Zone 
• At the entrance of Wembley’s Official Car Parks 
• On Olympic Way

As guardians of our football club, we all have a responsibility to act as ambassadors of not only Peterborough United, but also the city of Peterborough.

This includes respecting our values and we will not tolerate discriminatory behaviour of any kind. Anyone found to be behaving in a discriminatory manner will be banned from attending matches.
