The Peterborough United under 18s make the trip north to face Burnley in Professional Development League action on Saturday afternoon (1pm) with the youngsters looking to build momentum ahead of the FA Youth Cup first round tie at Crewe Alexandra on Thursday evening.
The Posh youngsters are looking to build on a positive showing in the second half at Manchester City last time out and welcome back Joel Odei-Larbi to the squad after a spell on the side-lines. Striker Tyler Winters is unavailable as he is on-loan at Spalding. Defender Fabian Claxton remains unavailable through injury.
The rest of the Posh squad is expected to be strong as they come up against a Clarets side who will provide tough opposition. They are likely to replicate their first team under Vincent Kompany in the way that they play, but Posh will look to impart their own game on the fixture as they look to come away from Lancashire with a positive result.
Score updates from the fixture will be available on @theposhacademy Twitter page.
