Young players put through their paces at three-day training camp at RAF Wittering.
The Under 18s and Under 21s were put through the ultimate test on their return to pre-season training with a three-day camp at RAF Wittering as they were put through their paces in a variety of physical and mental challenges.
The camp was designed to push them to their limits and the group came through with flying colours, standing them in good stead for the forthcoming campaign.
Academy Manager Dan Robinson said: "It was an excellent opportunity for our players and staff to experience the challenges that the RAF and the Military as a whole go through and be immersed in their training routine.
"This helped, not only only the physical aspect of our player development and preparation for the new campaign, but also team building and the mental strength that is required.
"I would like to say a massive thank you to Dave Hughes at RAF Wittering and his team for supporting our programme and we look forward to working with them again."
During the three days the players were given a number of challenges, including erecting their tent in groups where they would sleep on site.
Not only that, but there were early-morning spin classes, testing long runs, relay sprints and boxercise, all designed to encourage the players to work as a team to get each other through the undeniable physical strain.
