Hector Kyprianou joined Posh from Leyton Orient in the summer of 2022 and the midfielder enjoyed a fine first campaign in PE2. 

Nicknamed 'Hector the Protector' by, well everyone, he has the perfect blend of attributes for a central midfield player, he can deal with the physical element of the game, but he is stylish on the ball and scored the Goal of the Season for his individual effort against Forest Green Rovers during the 2022-2023 campaign. 

Kyprianou made his full Cyprus debut during the 2023-2024 campaign and is now a regular in the squad, with most of his appearances coming as a centre back, including marking Erling Haaland on his debut against Norway. He was named the club's captain for the 2024-2025 season.
