Malik Mothersille joined Posh just ahead of the closure of the summer transfer window of 2024. He netted twice against Posh in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy for Chelsea the season before. Mothersille can operate a central striker or in the wider positions. He scored in the Bristol Street Motors semi-final win at Blackpool to set up the final at Wembley. 

Mothersille is a strong finisher, has good movement and is hard to stop when running at defenders due to his excellent balance and close control.
