Goalkeeper Jed Steer is technically in his third spell for the football club within the last seven months! The former Aston Villa shot-stopper initially joined on a short-term contract to cover for Nick Bilokapic while the Australian was injured, but returned after a week or so away to feature regularly in the back end of the 2024-2025 campaign, helping the club reach the Sky Bet League One play-offs as well as the success in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy at Wembley Stadium. 

Steer is a commanding presence, good with his feet, an excellent shot-stopper and at the age of 31, is the most experienced member of the dressing room.
