Carl Johnston made the move to Posh from Fleetwood Town for an undisclosed fee during the January transfer window of 2025 and made his debut in a 1-0 defeat at Wrexham.

The right-back, who has over 100 appearances in senior football, has been in a Northern Ireland senior squad and represented his country at youth level.

Johnston is a tough-tackling defender who loves the art of defending. He can operate at right-back or as a right wing-back.
