Sam Hughes joined Posh in the January transfer window from Stockport County in a loan deal until the end of the current campaign and made an instant impact in the starting line-up, winning the WM Legal Player of the Month in the process.

Excellent in the air, Hughes has brought a calmness to the Posh back-line. He is a good organiser, decent in the tackle and a threat from set-pieces.
